Not only have fans and analysts been critical of Alabama offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien’s playcalling on his side of the football, but there’s now a belief that he is making a negative impact on the defense.
Former Alabama defensive lineman Rudy Griffin discussed this point during a recent appearance on “In My Own Words” last week.
“I really feel like the offense ain’t meshing well with the defense,” Griffin said. “I really don’t. And I mean that by not saying that Bill O’Brien is not a good football coach. He’s a dynamic football coach.
