TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama baseball team will open the doors of the newly renovated Sewell-Thomas Stadium to fans this weekend for a trio of scrimmages on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The opening will provide the first opportunity for fans to watch the Crimson Tide in action in Tuscaloosa in over a year.
The Crimson Tide first opened the gates of The New Joe to media members on Wednesday afternoon, taking attendees on a tour of the facilities, led by Alabama Athletics Director Bill Battle and Tide head baseball coach Mitch Gaspard.
