TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this weekend mark the final three scrimmages of the 2016 spring before the Alabama baseball team begins regular season play on Feb. 19 against Maryland. The team will scrimmage at 3:30 p.m. CT on Friday, before a 2:30 p.m. start on Saturday and a 1:45 p.m. first pitch to close out the weekend on Sunday.
The Crimson Tide finished its second weekend of scrimmages on Sunday. Friday and Sunday were traditional intrasquads bookending Saturday’s first ever Alumni Game. The Saturday event welcomed back nearly 250 former players, coaches and managers, providing all alumni a chance to reconnect with former teammates and members of the Alabama baseball program.
