The football teams may be on a collision course for the national championship, but the basketball squads will do battle first
Avery Johnson's young group got quite the wake-up call last Friday night in Hattiesburg, as a desperate Southern Miss team played their best ball of the year and nearly knocked off the Crimson Tide (5-2). Credit the young men in crimson though, as that game was the kind of game that would have led to an ugly loss under the previous regime. Regardless, Alabama will look to continue their current three game winning streak, all away from home, as they head to Greenville, South Carolina to take on the Clemson Tigers (6-2).
