The University of Alabama has 18 commitments in the 2016 class, and there are still plenty of players the Tide coaching staff hopes to sign. The numbers on the offensive side of the ball are getting tight.
Alabama is possibly finished at the quarterback position due to overall numbers. Jalen Hurts, a four-star quarterback from Channelview High School in Texas, is the only commitment at the position. There has been much speculation of Alabama taking two quarterbacks in this year’s class. Jawon Pass, a four-star quarterback from Carver High School in Columbus, Ga., announced his commitment to Louisville last week instead of Alabama or Auburn.
