Alabama put seven players on the preseason All-SEC first team released Friday morning.
Three from offense and four on defense made the cut in voting conducted at the league's media days event in Atlanta. Damien Harris, Jonah Williams and Ross Pierschbacher made it on offense while the defense as represented by Raekwon Davis, Anfernee Jennings, Mack Wilson and Deionte Thompson.
Second team members included offensive lineman Lester Cotton and defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs while Jerry Jeudy, Matt Womack and Dylan Moses made the third teams.
Alabama's seven first-team selections came up short of the league record the Crimson Tide set last year with 10.
