AL.com All-Access: For once, Alabama has some signing day drama this year

In 2015, it was Auburn that had all the drama entering National Signing Day. But this year, most of the intrigue is on the other side of the state.

Alabama enters the first day of the 2016 football signing period at least marginally in the running for about a dozen 5- or 4-star recruits. In short, this has the makings of the Crimson Tide's most interesting signing day since 2009.

Sure, there have been dramatic moments in the last few years: Rashaan Evans stunningly choosing the Crimson Tide over his hometown Tigers (and his dad's old team) in 2014, as well as Cyrus Kouandjio committing to Auburn on signing day in 2011, only to flip to Alabama a few days later.
