Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa shares first message with fans since his injury

He is doing fine and he appreciates everyone.

Tua Tagovailoa suffered a scary hip injury in the second quarterback of Alabama’s matchup with Mississippi State. He was carted off the field and transported from Davis Wade Stadium to St. Vincent Medical Center in Birmingham (Ala.) via helicopter. The junior quarterback was in intense pain and rumors expected the worse, but calming news came from Dr. Lyle Cain.

As the team’s Orthopedic Surgeon, Cain released a statement on Tagovailoa sustaining a dislocated right hip. He said the native Hawaiian is ‘expected’ to make a full recovery – despite having to miss the remainder of this season.
