Alabama’s offensive line is the best in college football, and it’s not even close

No defense in college football wants to deal with the offensive explosion at Alabama.

In his second year as a play caller, Steve Sarkisian has the Crimson Tide boasting a top-10 group nationally for scoring offense (48.5 ppg, No. 3) and total offense (535.6 ypg, No. 6). Under his leadership, Alabama has its highest red zone efficiency of the Nick Saban era (38-for-42, 90.5 percent) and a strong conversion rate on third down (51-for-87, 58.6 percent). While the skill position players gain the most attention, the Tide’s offensive line is the best unit in the sport and it is not even close.
