Alabama’s most recent national championship parade was held Saturday on the steps of Bryant-Denny Stadium in front of an estimated 40,000 fans. As much as the celebration was about the past, there was a clear message to potential recruits in attendance and those watching from home that this isn’t the last one.
Alabama Athletic Director Greg Byrne and SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey we’re both in attendance and spoke before the players and Nick Saban.
“We don’t have the best college football coach in the country, we ave the best coach in the country,” Byrne told the crowd.
