TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Head Coach Kristy Curry, senior forward Nikki Hegstetter and sophomore point guard Karyla Middlebrook met with several members of the media on Monday at the Tide’s annual preseason media luncheon. The trio answered questions from local print and television reporters regarding the team’s trip to Italy as well as its upcoming season.
The women’s team will team up with the men’s squad Tuesday night for Tide Tipoff, a fan-friendly event with autographs, team introductions, a scrimmage, dunk contest and more. Following the basketball portion, hip hop artists Rae Sremmurd will perform on court.
