Alabama tight end Giles Amos enters NCAA transfer portal

According to AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, Alabama tight end Giles Amos has elected to put his name into the transfer portal on Friday.

Amos will be a graduate transfer should he choose to leave the school and will be eligible to play right away.

A native of Perry, Georgia, Amos originally arrived in Tuscaloosa as a walk on and saw limited action during his first few years with the team. He famously earned a scholarship last season during fall camp and appeared in nine games for the Crimson Tide.

In his career Amos has one catch for five yards which came last season against New Mexico State.
