ICYMI: Alabama Baseball With Great Outing At USA Baseball-Irish Classic
The ladies of the Alabama softball team kept doing their thing on the diamond this weekend as they added four wins to the win column after playing five. Those four wins included three run-rule victories as well as two shutouts. Not too bad for a weekend of work.
Friday and Saturday saw the Crimson Tide playing two games on each day and the finale on Sunday. The long game they lost was a one-run decision in the late-billed game on Saturday.
During the two contests on Friday, Alabama outscored North Dakota State (15-2) and Lousiana-Monroe (11-0) with a combined score of 26-2.
