The University of Alabama softball team as well as the city of Tuscaloosa will host regionals for the NCAA Softball Tournament beginning on Friday.
Coach Patrick Murphy, outfielder Haylie McCleney and pitcher Alexis Osorio addressed the media on Thursday during a press conference before the games get started.
This time marks the eleventh straight time the Tide will host and their seventeenth time overall to play in the regional.
“It is unbelievable. It is the seventeenth time we are in a regional, and the eleventh that we have hosted. But to be here for eleven years in a row is unreal.
