Alabama safety Jordan Battle outlines where his game needs to improve this season

Jordan Battle gives reporters two things in his interviews: humor and honesty.

He had the media laughing in discussing Nick Saban’s love for “deez nuts” jokes, but Battle provided an honest assessment of himself in today’s media availability before spring practice.

The South Florida native is back for his senior season in Alabama’s secondary.

He earned first-team All-SEC honors and second-team All-American honors (AFCA) for his performance in 2021, helping the Crimson Tide win a Southeastern Conference Championship. Battle finished fourth on the team for total tackles (86) and totaled three pass breakups, three interceptions (shared team lead), and a quarterback hurry.
