We wondered going into tonight’s playoff rankings whether the committee would drop Alabama following the loss of superstar QB Tua Tagovailoa.
Turns out that they stuck to their guns and left Alabama at #5, giving the Tide the opportunity to state their case in Auburn. The top seven stayed completely unchanged:

- Ohio State
- Clemson
- Georgia
- Alabama
- Oregon
- Utah
- Penn State
- Oklahoma
- Minnesota
This should have been expected, as nothing really happened this week to shake up the rankings.
