Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa assures team he ‘will play’ versus LSU

Tennessee giving Alabama a fight at Bryant-Denny Stadium was difficult enough for some; however, the injury to Tua Tagovailoa in the second quarter gave all fans a scare.

He appeared to have had his ankle rolled up in Saturday’s 35-13 win over the Volunteers, but it looked much worse upon initial impact. Tagovailoa was able to walk to the locker room and despite not returning to action, he was photographed having a smile on his face with a cigar.

Nick Saban told reporters that his quarterback suffered a twisted ankle and would be out for at least one week.
