Alabama practiced Wednesday afternoon, working outside on a warm, mostly sunny day in Tuscaloosa.

-- Injured running back Najee Harris was back out for the media viewing period for the first time since suffering a foot injury during Alabama's first preseason scrimmage Aug. 11. The sophomore was off working with athletic trainer Jeff Allen.
"This is not a long-term issue that we think is going to be a significant problem for him even to be ready for the first game," head coach Nick Saban said last week of Harris.
