Alabama offensive tackle, Kadyn Proctor was named as a semifinalist for the Lombardi Award, which is presented to the best offensive or defensive lineman in the country, the Rotary Club of Houston announced on Tuesday morning.
Not only is the award based on player performance on the field, but the character and discipline that also best exemplifies NFL Hall of Famer Vince Lombardi are also taken into account in the voting.

Proctor is one of 13 nominated for the award, and if he were to bring the award home, he’d be the first Tide player to do so since former Alabama linebacker Will Anderson won it in 2022.
