Alabama football has added John Gazzaniga to its roster as a walk-on.
Gazzianiga is a product of Rancho Santa Margarita in California, and he is listed at 6-foot-7 and 252 pounds as a true freshman.
The 6-foot-7 quarterback flashed as a passer of the football, throwing for 1,938 yards and 15 touchdowns in 12 games while completing 59 percent of his passes as a senior during the 2024 season. He also showed the ability to run with the football by finishing second on his team in rushing which is impressive for a guy his size.
