Sam Faniel reported an offer from Alabama football and Kalen DeBoer after camping over the weekend.
Faniel attends Benedictine College Preparatory in Richmond, Virginia. He now holds recent offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Michigan State and others.
Faniel’s Alabama offer is a significant one for him because of his dad’s connection to the state.
“This is big for me,” Faniel told Touchdown Alabama. “My dad is from Alabama and has been a Tide fan since I can remember. This one definitely means a lot to me because I also grew up watching this team being the powerhouse of all of college football.
