Alabama football’s offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb discussed what he saw from Ty Simpson during an underwhelming performance against Eastern Illinois.
Simpson threw two interceptions during the Crimson Tide’s 56-0 win over the Panthers on Saturday, finishing the game without a passing touchdown and 147 passing yards. This performance came after Simpson threw an interception and fumbled the football against Oklahoma weeks earlier. The Alabama offensive coordinator gave his thoughts on the two interceptions Simpson threw on Monday.
“I think he had one that he wanted back,” Grubb said. “Obviously, the interception at the end of half shows the kind of player Ty is.
