Alabama somehow dropped in the AP Poll after beating an SEC West team and yet moved up a spot in the Coaches Poll.
I think polls are useless and silly, but also fun and the only really good way to guess where your team is until the College Football Playoff Committee starts releasing their standings.
Alabama managed to drop to 9th in the AP Poll falling behind Texas A&M who stayed at 9 even though the Aggies needed OT to beat Arkansas by one touchdown and Alabama’s win was much more convincing.
