Alabama introducing the Crimson Standard: A Ten Year Renovation

Since arriving in Tuscaloosa as the head football coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide, Nick Saban has made Alabama the face of college football. The Crimson Tide has won five national championships in nine years and no school has come close to the success of Alabama. In addition to the championships, Alabama football constantly sends stars to the NFL and many of the players become first team all Americans and All-SEC yearly. The university has decided to build on the excellence of their athletics program and begin a ten-year renovation known as The Crimson Standard.

The Crimson Standard is ten-year, $600 million initiative that will transform Alabama’s facilities and provide the environment necessary to recruit and train the best student-athletes and position the athletics programs as nationally competitive in the future.
