Alabama still qualified for Session 2 of the SEC Championships after their 4th place conference ranking after the regular season. Joining the Tide in Session 2 were the Auburn Tigers, the LSU Tigers, and the Florida Gators, three teams that Bama had lost meets to earlier in the year.
