Alabama football’s redshirt junior offensive lineman, Emil Ekiyor announced he was returning to the University of Alabama next season to play for the Crimson Tide for one more year on Friday evening.
Ekiyor made his announcement via Twitter. In his tweet, he stated, “I’m ready to run it back for one last season in Tuscaloosa to handle unfinished business.”
Ekiyor started at right guard for the Crimson Tide during the 2021 football season and played in 14 games. He started every game during the 2020 football season. The Indianapolis, Indiana product was a member of Alabama’s 2018 recruiting class and was rated as a four-star recruit coming out of high school.
