Alabama football can officially clinch a spot in the SEC Championship game by simply beating Auburn in the Iron Bowl.
This reality comes as a result of Vanderbilt beating Kentucky. The Commodores’ win erased the possibility of the Crimson Tide being on the outside looking in on the SEC Championship due to a possible three-way tie between Alabama, Georgia and Ole Miss.
If Alabama were to win and Texas A&M were to beat Texas, the Tide would play the Aggies in the conference championship game.
