Alabama Football: Who wins the starting job at middle linebacker next season?

A lot of positional battles will happen in the spring for Alabama football.

One spot to have a new face as a starter will be at middle linebacker. After four years with Dylan Moses — including one season where he did not play — the Baton Rouge (La.) native is headed to the NFL Draft. A knee injury kept him from having a monster year in 2020; however, he still had 80 tackles (6.5 tackles for loss), 1.5 sacks, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one interception. The former five-star was named first-team All-SEC and is a two-time College Football Playoff National Champion.
