A 6-4, 250 lb redshirt sophomore from Baton Rouge, LA, Allen came to Alabama seeing limited time behind the line in his freshman year. After his first year, he was poised to make a huge contribution to the team. But an ACL injury put a damper on those plans and he was redshirted for the 2018 Alabama football season.
With the loss of the Eyabi Enoma to transfer, it really thins up that area at the top and it will be one that may be concern going into the season. But with the loss comes opportunity. Chris Allen is now on the outside looking in.
