Nick Saban is getting young recruiters and developers for his coaching staff at Alabama.
Travarius Robinson, a South Florida native, is expected to be the Crimson Tide’s cornerbacks coach via several reports.
The 40-year-old has a footprint in the Southeastern Conference, coaching at Auburn, Florida, and South Carolina. He was also a standout defensive back for the Tigers. Robinson is a tremendous recruiter and developer of talent.
He has mentored names such as Matt Elam, Keanu Neal, Vernon Hargreaves, Carlton Davis, and Jaycee Horn to being high NFL Draft picks. Alabama looks for Robinson to provide the success of previous names such as Kirby Smart, Jeremy Pruitt, Derrick Ansley, Mel Tucker, and Karl Scott in coaching defensive backs.
