Like all of Saban’s recruits, Quinnen Williams had plenty of ability when he arrived in Tuscaloosa from Wenonah School in Birmingham. Still, as a “mere” four star, he was somewhat overshadowed by bigger names. I remember well commenting about my own treatment of Quinnen as an afterthought to Raekwon Davis in the 2016 recruiting class.
Boy, was that a mistake.
Coined the “300 lb. bar of soap” by Jonah Williams this past season, Quinnen has used his “lower” rating as fuel to develop into a complete package. Quite simply, there is nothing the man doesn’t do well.
