It’s a new week, but Alabama’s kicking game continues to be a weakness for the Crimson Tide. Kicker Conor Talty missed a 28-yard field goal attempt in the first half, and the fans in Bryant-Denny Stadium came unglued after the kick bounced off the right upright and missed.
Talty walked off the grass with a puzzled expression, and the boos rained down on Saban Field in the direction of Talty because it is not the first time the kicker has missed a field goal from under 30 yards this year. Talty blew last week’s 26-yard field goal against Oklahoma, and that kick made the difference in the game as the Sooners only won by two points.
