When things aren’t going well for Alabama on offense, Crimson Tide fans tend to demand the same simple solution to the problem: Run the ball.
So not that Alabama reportedly has hired New England Patriots tight ends coach Brian Daboll as its new offensive coordinator, it only makes sense to change his first name to “Run” to go along with his last name of Daboll, right?
That’s at least the logic used by one Alabama fan who created a change.org petition Saturday morning to do just that.
Here’s what the petition said:
“This petition has been created to change new Alabama Football offensive coordinator Brian Daboll’s first name to ‘RUN.
