Grant Haviland made his way to Tuscaloosa Friday for the first time since earning an offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide in February.
Haviland attends Milton High School in Georgia, and he is a 2027 tight-end prospect. He holds college football offers from Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Texas and others.
Haviland’s latest visit to Alabama included conversations with Kalen DeBoer and the Tide’s tight end coach Bryan Ellis. They ensured the sophomore their plan is to continue to use the tight end position a lot.
“It was great to hear about how they want to make tight ends a big part of their offense and to hear what makes Alabama different from the rest,” Haviland told Touchdown Alabama.
