Alabama DC tells what issues are making it hard for Tide to stop the run

Alabama football’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack knows the Crimson Tide’s defense has to get better at stopping the run.

The Tide have given up more than 140 rushing yards in four games this season. Georgia and Florida State both rushed for more than 200 yards against the Alabama defense.

Tennessee continued this trend when it had a solid night on the ground against Alabama on Saturday. The Vols rushed for 142 yards as a team and five of their carries went for more than 10 yards. Alabama’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack talked about the issues the Tide are dealing with when it comes to defending the run on Monday.
