Alabama Crimson Tide vs. South Carolina: Of course the Gamecocks will have a celebration

It has been 15 years since a game that stunned Alabama Crimson Tide fans. On Oct. 9, 2010, Alabama traveled to Columbia to play South Carolina. The Gamecocks were no slouch team, ranked at No. 19. But no college football expert predicted South Carolina would upset the Crimson Tide.

At 5-0 in the 2010 season, the defending National Champion Crimson Tide had allowed a total of 45 points. No. 18 Penn State was held to three points in Week 2. The week before the South Carolina game, the No. 7-ranked Florida Gators were held to six points. The Gamecocks scored 35 points in a game Alabama lost by two touchdowns and in which it led only once, in the first quarter, 3-0.
