The University of Alabama has confirmed that its women's basketball team is returning to Coleman Coliseum starting with the 2016-17 season.
The women's team was moved out of Coleman Coliseum late in the 2010-11 season following renovations made to the smaller venue of Foster Auditorium.
"One of the first things I talked about in my introductory press conference when we arrived three years ago was building our fan base," said Alabama women's basketball coach Kristy Curry. "We've worked really hard at that both on the court and in the community, and in turn, those fans have provided us with one of the most incredible and electric home court atmospheres anywhere.
