Alabama commit Jalyn Armour-Davis had his injured right knee scoped Tuesday morning and is expected to miss 2-3 weeks for St. Paul's.

The four-star defensive back was injured during a first-quarter punt return in the Saints' 9-6 win over Williamson at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on Friday.

"He just planted his inside foot and it gave away," St. Paul's head coach Steve Mask said. "He didn't get hit on it. It just buckled."

Armour-Davis, who committed to Alabama this summer, missed the rest of the game. However, Mask said Tuesday's surgery went well and a full recovery is expected.
