Alabama Basketball: UNLV Preview

The opening game of the Maui Invitational (In Asheville, NC) didn’t bode well for the Crimson Tide (1-1), but it hopes to rebound following an 82-64 loss at the hands of the Stanford Cardinal (1-0).

Alabama shot just 35.8% from the field, including a pedestrian 24.8% from three-point land in the loss to Stanford. Guard Jahvon Quinerly led all Tide scorers with 14 points. Jaden Shackelford was able to push his double-digit scoring streak to 17-games, recording 10 points on just 3-13 from the field. Jordan Bruner and Herb Jones each recorded 8 points, while Petty managed just 7.
