Alabama Baseball Takes Series From North Dakota

It was a good Saturday at Sewell-Thomas Stadium in Tuscaloosa as the Alabama baseball team took their second consecutive series in as many tries with a 5-2 win over the North Dakota Fighting Hawks.

Right-hander Jake Walters (1-1) got the start on the mound and had an exceptional outing, recording a career-high 13 strikeouts in seven innings of work. Jon Keller entered the game during the eighth, sitting down the Hawks in order. Thomas Burrows earned his third save of the season with one inning of work, striking out two.

North Dakota jumped out to a 2-0 lead, but the Crimson Tide scored a run in five consecutive innings to get the victory.
