2020 punter, Sam Johnson, announced he will take his talents to the University of Alabama for the next four years Saturday via Twitter.
Johnson is the No. 2 punter in the nation, according to Kohls Kicking. He is a product of Oak Mountain High School in Birmingham, Alabama. Kohls’ Kicking describes the Alabama product as a confident punter, with a competitive drive.
“He catches the ball with supreme confidence and is a fierce competitor. He has the ability to be an immediate impact player at the Power 5 level. Johnson competed at the Southern Showcase in May of 2019.
