After combine snub, Jake Coker works out for NFL scouts

“Oh, man, don’t get me started on that,” Coker told reporters after his workout. “It’s all good, man. It obviously pissed me off, but it didn’t change my work ethic or the way I’ve been working. It is what it is.”

Coker bypassed running the 40, but did throw for the teams in attendance. Heisman-winning running back Derrick Henry was one of those who caught passes from Coker during the workout.

Saban was asked about Coker’s combine snub by SEC Network analyst Greg McElroy, a former Alabama quarterback.

“I think Jake didn’t get invited to Indy because 97 juniors went out,” Saban told McElroy.
