The Independence High School product holds 10 D1 offers, including offers from Penn State, Tennessee and Ole Miss. With Alabama showing a heavy interest in adding big-body tight ends who can block and catch the football, Lockwood is a prospect to watch out for. The Thompson Station, Tennessee native currently stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs 225 pounds.
As a sophomore, Lockwood was able to pull in contested catches in traffic and fight for extra yards. The 2023 tight end knows how to find open spots in a defense and sit in them.
