Alabama football threw its hat in the ring for 2023 five-star defensive end, Jayden Wayne Tuesday.
Miami and Texas also extended offers to Wayne Tuesday, boosting his offer total to 23. Alabama’s wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins informed Wayne of his offer from the Crimson Tide. The five-star prospect said he was surprised to receive an offer from Alabama.
“I was in shock,” Wayne told Touchdown Alabama. “I was like wow. Receiving an offer from there where I am from is huge.”
The Tacoma, Washington product went on to say he would love to be a part of Alabama’s program in the future.
