The Alabama football program has garnered a lot of attention this offseason. Several players have been spoken about more often than others in the media this offseason.
Touchdown Alabama lists five players that should be getting talked about more heading into the 2025 season.
1. CB DaShawn Jones
Jones transferred to Alabama last offseason from Wake Forest. The Maryland native played in 13 games and made one start during the 2024 season. His lone start on the year came at the Husky position. As the season progressed, Jones played more and more snaps.
In 2025, Jones is expected to compete for the starting Husky spot on Kane Wommack’s SWARM defense.
