Former Alabama wide receivers Kevin Norwood and DeAndrew White were released with injured designations on Monday - Norwood by the New York Giants and White by the Houston Texans.
Norwood had a hip injury. Observers of the Giants' practice on Sunday reported Norwood went down during that workout.
Norwood played 33 offensive snaps and caught a 7-yard pass in New York's first preseason game on Friday night.
White suffered a groin injury at practice on Aug. 4 and hadn't been back on the field.
