Alabama Recruiting News: Tide Offer Scholarship To WR Cavin Ridley, Brother Of Five-Star Commit

The Alabama Crimson Tide's coaching staff are attempting to facilitate a future where brothers get a chance to line up across from one another at wide receiver.

Per Drew Champlin of AL.com, "alabama has a commitment from Calvin Ridley, a 5-star receiver from Monarch High School in Coconut Creek, Fla. On Friday, Alabama offered Calvin's younger brother Cavin Ridley, a 2016 4-star receiver from the same high school, according to a tweet from Florida Fire 7v7 coach Dennis Marroquin."

Marroquin indicates that Cavin was also offered by the Tennessee Volunteers on Friday.

The 6-foot-1, 190 pounder is currently listed as 247Sports' 229th overall prospect in the nation. He also has outstanding offers from the Miami Hurricanes and the Temple Owls.

His brother, Calvin, seized MVP honors at The Opening, but he was limited to just three games as a senior because of age restrictions.
