Alabama Football Recruiting: Tide Make Five-Star 2016 Linebacker's Top Seven

The Alabama Crimson Tide are in great position already when it comes to the recruitment of 2016 outside linebacker Lyndell Wilson. The Montgomery (Ala.) Carver product took to Twitter this week to narrow his list of potential schools to seven, and Alabama's sitting pretty at #2:

Wilson's Top 7
1. Oregon Ducks
2. Alabama Crimson Tide
3. Auburn Tigers
4. Louisville Cardinals
5. Tennessee Volunteers
6. Georgia Bulldogs
7. USC Trojans

The 6-foot-2, 220 pound Wilson is currently ranked by 247Sports as the nation's No. 6 overall prospect and No. 2 outside linebacker in the Class of 2016, along with being listed as the top recruit in Alabama.

247Sports' Crystal Ball projects Alabama as the 88-percent favorite to land Wilson, followed by Auburn at 12-percent, so expect head coach Nick Saban and the rest of his coaching staff to go all-in over the next year-plus to ensure Wilson spends his collegiate playing days in Tuscaloosa.
