Coming off a season that ended in the MAC tournament semifinals, the farthest any Akron women's soccer team has gone, the Zips are geared up for the 2016 season and look to take the next step forward. Akron is set to open the 2016 season this weekend in Milwaukee, Wis., on Friday, Aug. 19 at Milwaukee, followed by a contest with Green Bay on Sunday, Aug. 21.
