MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES OF THE WEEK RELEASE
CLEVELAND, Ohio - University of Akron track and field standouts senior Claudia Garcia Jou (Barcelona, Spain), junior Clayton Murphy (New Paris, Ohio) and sophomore Terrell McClain (Youngstown, Ohio) were tabbed by the Mid-American Conference as the MAC Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday, May 4.
Garcia Jou garnered MAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week accolades for the third-consecutive week after winning the women's high jump with a clearance of 5-11.
